Adjunct (Part-Time) Surgical Technician Faculty
Description
West Shore Community College, in partnership with EPIC Consortium, is seeking applicants to teach in the Surgical Technology program.
Job Duties
- Deliver high-quality instruction within the Surgical Technology program
- Mentor students and contribute to the academic community
- Stay current with industry practices and maintain professional certification
- Support student success through advising and evaluation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (or higher) from a regionally accredited college or university
- Candidate must hold current CST certification
- Current BLS certification for healthcare professionals (includes AED & Paramedics); certification must be maintained throughout the duration of employment
- Demonstrated experience performing Surgical Technologists procedures
- Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population and as a member of a team
*Will train for course expectation and evaluations.
*Compensation is dependent on highest degree.
